Where Filipino Residents of the UAE Apply

A valid Philippine passport with at least three months’ validity beyond your return date and at least two blank visa pages, plus any previous passports if you have travelled internationally before, since old Schengen, US, UK or other Western-country visas in an old booklet meaningfully strengthen an application.

The Cover Letter Matters More Than It Looks

A short, specific cover letter describing your trip, who is travelling, the dates, and your intention to return to your UAE job afterward is one of the more commonly under-prepared documents in Filipino applications we see. Processing Time From Dubai or Abu Dhabi

Standard Schengen processing is 15 calendar days from a complete submission under the EU’s own visa code, though centres routinely tell applicants to allow more, especially in the European summer and around the December holidays when both UAE and Philippine travel demand peaks. Build in at least four weeks before your travel date if you can.
