What you actually need is a Swiss appointment, and there is one rule that decides whether the Swiss will accept your file at all.

Which Visa Application Centre Handles Liechtenstein Cases in the UAE

Switzerland’s. The Swiss foreign ministry states that the visa section of the Embassy of Switzerland in Abu Dhabi processes applications from permanent residents of the UAE or Bahrain travelling to either Switzerland or Liechtenstein, provided one of those countries is the main travel destination.
